You may wish to get a re gas at some point as I dont think it has been done for a while Fresh 12 month MOT expires jan 2013 Engine runs as smooth as the day it left the factory, the only noise is a bit of a squeek from the auxillary drive belt but the engine itself is fine, it pulls very well in all gears and is a very quick car Gearbox and clutch all ok All tyres have good tread Interior in good condition with no big marks or rips etc, just needs a little tlc as it was standing for a while Drivers side sill has been welded twice, once by a previous owner and recently by me so no more welding needed for a while. This has been done to MOT standard, not show standard! Bad bits; The red paint is typical of an old red car - it has polished up fairly well but the laquer has started to peel on the roof (see close up pic) and the NSR quarter has been resprayed at some point and could do with further polishing in but I have done the best I can with it with an electric polishing mop could do with another all over polish The bottom of the doors have a bit of bubbling but could be rubbed back and re sprayed if it bothers you The CD player/stereo lights up a bit but doesnt work properly but I am a mechanic, not an electrician so have left it alone! So in conclusion this is a nice car which is perfectly useable as it is, and with a weekends worth of polishing and cleaning would come up even better. Alternatively it would be a good base for a cheap track day car or modified road car as the mechanicals are so good. I have priced it very realistically as the engine and box alone are worth a fair bit.
