Runs/drives very well.
Recent front tyres, cambelt 4000 miles ago.
New rear exhaust sections.
Long MoT (until May 5th 2012). No Tax. (SORN'ed).
Tow-bar. Electric Windows, Runroof, C/locking.
Everything works, though a/c needs gassing & rear window is a little slow!
Starts well, equipped with dual batteries.
It's in pretty good condition for its age, a few minor dents here & there, nothing too drastic though & the bumpers are better than most!
Interior is nice & clean, though the drivers seat is starting to fray.
Car shows 160,000 KMS, which equals 99,500 miles.
History consists of old MoT's. An owners manual (in English) is included.
Car was previously registered in Japan. Imported in 2003.
Whilst this car runs and drives well, I am selling for spares/repairs for the following reason:
There is a fuel leak from somewhere within the engine bay. (Pump?).
It only occurs when the car is first started and running cold, as soon as it starts to warm-up, the leak stops.

It runs/drives nicely & has an MoT. It does need work, as detailed below.
If... You can do the work yourself, great! A potential massive bargain for you.
If... You need your mate to do the work & he doesn't quite know whether.. blah blah blah... It probably isn't for you.
If... You want a main dealer to do the work, forget it!!
If... You want to break it? Well: You know the Surf market better than me, probably a ma$$ive £ortune to be made...
If... Your idea of buying a car is: "What's your best price mate" The answer is £750. For now.

To repeat: The car leaks diesel when cold (fine once warmed-up) and the Turbo is a little whistley.

Just to add: (In answer to some questions!).
Yes, it seems to have the winter/cold weather package, as it has the dual batteries and the idle speed switch (works).
It also has the ESC setting for the gearbox, which is a kind of 'Sports' setting. That works too.
It's also got the overdrive setting, and hey, that works...!
It does have the two-stage, switchable dampers (Firm and Normal) & they work.
(In fact, when I've been using it on main roads, I've been using this. It firms up the handling to a worthwhile degree)
The rear tailgate window goes up and down fine, it's just the last few mm going back up that's a bit slow.
CD player works, (It's a decent make & sounds pretty good) & the radio works in a strong signal area, but some clown broke off the aerial!
Sunroof is the electric, glass-type with the shade.
