| Hi, for sale I have my Toyota Aygo, which is in fantastic condition and has been looked after extremely well by myself and the previous owner, which ...> was my mum. The car has a full service history as its first 3 services were done by the original Toyota dealer the car was bought from, and then the next 2 were done by our mechanic, my mum always made sure to have the car serviced each year, and I have carried on with the tradition, apart from the 2011 service as I completely forgot about it, but did make up for it in 2012 as it was serviced whilst getting its MOT. The car is MOTed until 1st of March 2013 and is taxed until March 2013, so once you pick up this car it won’t cost you a penny and is ready for you to drive away, with a massive smile on your face. This car is not just fantastic value in price but it will also save you plenty of money after purchase as the insurance will be rock bottom due to the car being classed in insurance class as 1, it only cost £20 for a year’s road tax and in the current climate I put £45.00 (To fill fully from the last bar) into the car and it gives me an unbelievable 380-400 miles back (please see the consumption breakdown below) | mpg Average: 61.4 miles mpg City driving: 51.4 miles mpg Motorway Driving: 68.9 miles CO2 emissions: 109 Emission class: Euro 4 | The mileage on this car is low for a car of its age as it has only done 32694 miles and still has plenty left in the tank, The mileage will change though as I will still be driving the car to work 2 days a week. Some of the features that come with this car are as follows: Safety Features - Driver Airbag, Passenger Airbag, Side Airbags. In car radio system - AM/FM Stereo & CD Player, it also has an audio input option for MP3 players e.g. iPod. Interior comfort Remote Central Locking, Electric Windows, Power assisted Steering . The only down side that I can think of with this car is that the wheels only have hub caps on and not Alloy wheels. It has 5 doors so is easy to access the back seats with out having to mess around, which is ideal if you have children or grand children to get into the back seats, plus the doors are easy to set the child lock on. This car is ideal for any driver, from just passed to plenty of experience as it is only a 1 liter engine so is not going to be lightning fast but is extremely light so what it loses in power it makes up for by being light, this will keep your insurance policy low and will never let you down, every time I get in this car I know there will be no problems with it as it has always started first time every time no matter how cold it gets this car is never affected. | The car does come with 2 keys, 1 with a fob on and 1 normal key, even though there is only one in the photo, my mum has the other key as i am prone to loosing keys. We are gutted to have to sell this car: but now we`re a family of 5, we cannot fit into it!This has to be one of the best small, run-around cars on the ...> road. We have loved everything about this vehicle - not least because you feel as though you can park in any space, it`s so economical to run (e.g. the annual road tax is only £20), and it`s so `nippy` to get around. For a city car, the Aygo boasts a wide track. This helps the handling; despite skinny 14-inch tyres, grip levels are good and there's plenty of bite under braking. The suspension is a development of the set-up found in the sharp handling, first generation Yaris. As you would expect, there is some body roll, but lateral movement is far better controlled than in other budget cars. The speed-sensitive steering impresses too; it's light and easy at town speeds, yet provides just enough feel when cruising. This good body control does come at the expense of ride quality, as most rough urban road surfaces are picked up. However, the tight turning circle, snappy performance and light controls make the car a great city companion.
Marketplace:
A wheel-at-each-corner design means the Aygo appears nicely proportioned and funky in a way only a well designed budget car can be. It's intentionally a simple range of three-and five-door hatchbacks, with a 1.0-litre petrol or 1.4-litre turbodiesel engines - though Toyota does offer more choice within this. There are numerous trim levels and colour choice is expanding all the time. A five-speed gearbox is standard, but a semi-automatic MMT option is available as an option. The Aygo's obvious rivals are the Citroen C1 and Peugeot 107 - which both offer marginally lower prices - but don't ignore the Fiat Panda or Ford Ka either; both sell in large numbers. Other budget models to consider include the Suzuki Alto, Kia Picanto and Hyundai Amica.
Owning:
The Aygo has a major weak spot: boot space. To save money, the tailgate is simply a piece of glass, and this leaves you with a high load sill. Capacity is only 139 litres, though all models feature a split-folding rear seat. Rear passenger space is adequate. It's strictly a four-seater though, and the hinged rear windows do not impress. They are fiddly to use and offer little ventilation. Up front, the driving position is good, and the cabin feels bigger than you would expect. Seats are surprisingly comfortable but the really impressive part is the dashboard. With unusual heater controls, a user-friendly stereo and funky speedometer, the design is fresh and attractive. MP3 players can be plugged into the stereo and the translucent section glows orange at night. Importantly, the materials are of a far better quality than in other budget machines. As for running costs, they're ultra-low; insurance is group 1 for most models, 10,000-mile servicing is inexpensive and fuel economy is stupendous. The Aygo even boasts a decent four-star Euro-NCAP crash result, while residuals will be the highest of the Czech-built trio. The car is a joint venture between Citroen, Peugeot and Toyota, who all produce their own version of the same car, with subtle differences in looks, prices and specification.
