Business | Careers | News Toyota Motor Manufacturing Mississippi Plant - Toyota (Best Syndication News) - Toyota Motor Manufacturing Mississippi Inc. (TMMMS) announced that they will begin hiring again in their Blue Springs Mississippi pant. Toyota Motor Corporation decided in February of 2007 to have an assembly plant in northern Mississippi and had plans to create 2,000 jobs. There was a delay in 2008 because of the slowed economy in producing the Toyota Corolla models at the new plant. But now the company announced that they will continue on the plans for producing the vehicles in the automobile manufacturing plant which will begin in the fall of 2011.
The plans include hiring employees to work at the plant. TMMMS is working with the Mississippi Department of Employment Security (MDES) and the Workforce Investment Network (WIN) Job Centers for hiring their hourly production and skilled maintenance job positions. Interested job applicants can also go to www.mdes.ms.gov to apply online as well as going to WIN Job Centers located in the state of Mississippi.
