Imported by a Leicester based company who specialise in this line of vehicle. On a 1998 `S` plate, 2.2 turbo deisel, automatic `x limited` spec with full air con (front and back - which fully works!!), lexus style front and rear face lift lights, electric mirrors (also electrically folding), orignal Toyota mats, remote central locking, electric front windows and electric moon roof. This particular model is 2WD (rear wheel drive) and comes with after market alloys fitted from Japan. She has no tax or test @ present and is sorned off the road sat on my mothers driveway. Just before she was took off the road I had its prop shaft coupling renewed which cost £200.00, I should have the reciept for that somewhere. The parts used were orignal Toyota parts which were supplied and fitted buy the company which imported the vehicle into the UK. Rear tyres were 6 months old prior to her being sorned off and the front ones were close to illegal I believe. The battery is dead and needs renewing. I ordered 1 today (from my fathers shop who is a motor spares dealer) for it which will be installed some stage this week. I purchased this vehicle off a friend who in turn bought it off the firm that imported it. Unfortunately my friend lost the service history and the spare key. Hence I have 1 key for this vehicle only which is the orignal 1 with alarm fob :-( The vehicle was used a school bus for around 6 months by myself. I have fitted a dixieland (Dukes of Hazard General Lee) air horn to it on a seperate circuit so the standard horn can be used and so it won`t affect the MOT ;-) Serviced the vehicle myself. The garage I use could`nt elevate it on the type of ramp they have without catching/damaging the side skirts so I had no choice but to do it myself. It was easy enough. I have a spare service kit for her with new set of brake pads and discs ready to go in and a 2nd hand towbar which I can chuck in also. The towbar was given to me buy a friend who owned a similar vehicle in the past. Body work was dent free and free of rust last time I checked with only age related marks. There is a minor niggle on the tailgate courtesy of my mrs which is a cheap repair in all fairness, it is something the naked eye will not pick up on unless it is pointed out. The engine taps graciously and gear change is smooth as is the drive. I have fitted a jap spec Sony double din stereo and hooked it to a MP3 shuffler. The shuffler is concelaed under the rear seat. I also got a specialist Leicester based ICE company to plumb an 8 guage power lead from the engine bay which is hid under carpet. I was planning on installing a boomimg sound system before I sorned off the road. All the interior is clean and standard. Back seats swivel to alter seating plan and can also change into double bed format. lol If it helps to strike a deal I can get her tested and cost can be incorporated into the deal. I believe the mileage is around 80000 (in equivalent miles) howebever please don`t quote me on it until I have renewed the battery. I will be able to confirm this once this is done as the odometer is digital. I am open to sensible offers for swaps/px or even cash (through eBay rules). Particulary Peugoet 806 or Citroen Synergie MPV. I maybe tempted into a turbo charged hot hatch of similar value or even a motor bike 600cc+. Try me!!! As you can see I have an untarnished feedback score and I intend to keep it this way. Those of you ebayers with below 100% score please don`t bother. Nothing personal. lower because some of the miles were covered in Km, she was also imported in 2004. Body work wise she’s in good condition and does look well in green (best colour and not many about), there are a few scuff and scrapes but nothing bad but at the end of the day she is almost 14 years old. Nice set of 17” 3 spoke alloys that are in good condition also and really set the Toyota off. Nice privacy glass with a mirrored finish. Inside is clean and tidy and has 8 seats with the middle row that can be turned to face out the back or too the front. She also has the heater unit on the roof to blow into the back of the Toyota, this is fully working. Has a toad alarm and immobiliser, full working, it will put your windows up if there down when you lock the car. Ok the bad bits. Driver’s seat has a rip in the fabric, I will get this stitched up so wont look to bad. On the drivers and passenger door handles the plastic covering or when ever they sprayed on the door cards in peeling off, not to bad and not to noticeable. The starter motor has started to play up, only over the last 2 weeks, you can turn the key and it will just click but then when you turn it again it will start, probably last a good few months before it will need replacing. Threes some little noises when the motor is running, bit like things rattling, i have tried to have a look to locate them but didn’t have much joy, they were there when I bought her and its been fine so wouldn’t worry to much about them, don’t think there anything to worry about. She drives spot on and goes through the gears as she should do, its never let me down since i have owned her. Reason for sale is I need a mini bus as I have got 2 big dogs as well as my family. carried out;- shock absorbers, link arms, radiator, battery, tyres, alloys, exhaust, heater matrix, engine, windscreen and full body respray. All the above have been replaced as new and not as second hand or re-conditioned. The car started over heating so the radiator was replaced. After a while it kept on over heating and was advised (wrongly) that engine was knackered. Imported new engine from Japan at a cost of £1000.00 plus fitting but hey, still over heated. Then some clever spark suggested change heater matrix (cost £450.00 supply and fit) and hey presto problem solved. The clock shows its done 140000 kilometers (not miles as it has original speedo) but the new engines done only 1500 kilometers.Just replaced windscreen because of a couple of stone chips (unrepairable) and also exhaust. Brother being a panel beater, got a free respray summer just gone. All interior immaculate condition with tinted windows and fully curtained (for naughty nights lol), it also has double sunroof with front / rear air-con. Got rid of tacky wheels it had and replaced them with new alloys/tyres. Got a brand new 7inch face-off monitored stereo/cd/dvd/tv/ with all features, free view box, reversing camera, 2 dvd headrests with remotes-game consoles- headphones etc etc etc which is an option to buy at a seperate cost from the car, worth over £1500 but will sell at a lot less.(see pictures) The car has had thousands spent on it and i challenge anyone to find a better looking and a better running car.
